Brigadoon Utah | Winter camp 2027

February 28 - march 2, 2027

What is the vibe of Brigadoon Utah?

It's 9 am, and you just finished a yoga session, and you glimpse the sun as it climbs above the Sundance canyon into the brisk morning air.

Your breath comes in visible clouds.

Even further above, Mt. Timpanogos watches over the 5,000 acres of Sundance Mountain Resort.

You've been up since seven — not from anxiety, but because the altitude does something to your thinking, sharpens it, and you didn't want to waste it sleeping.

Last night's dinner ended with a question that no one answered — someone put it on the whiteboard and left it there: "What are you building that you haven't told anyone about yet?"

This morning, three people have texted you with thoughts and asked to grab a cup of coffee. One of them you'd met, for the first time, thirty-six hours ago.

Tonight there'll be a documentary film in the original Sundance Film Festival screening room.

Tomorrow morning, someone you've admired from a distance will sit across a small table and ask you something you weren't expecting.

You came here thinking you'd learn something. You're starting to suspect you'll leave differently than you arrived.

What is this Brigadoon?

The legend of Brigadoon is the story of a mythical village in the Scottish Highlands. The town became enchanted centuries ago, remaining unchanged and invisible to the outside world, except for one special day every hundred years, when it could be seen and even visited by outsiders.

Brigadoon embraces this mythology as a place that is idyllic, unaffected by time, and remote from reality, much like our philosophy of connecting entrepreneurs and thought leaders who shape commerce and culture in settings and venues that inspire and drive creativity. Born of the frustration of spending too much time with the same people, feeling the same way, Brigadoon embraces a simple yet powerful idea: connecting visionaries who believe in meaningful conversations and boundless curiosity.

Since 2013, Brigadoon has organized PowerPoint-free discussions, family-style salon dinners, and multi-day excursions that foster deeper knowledge and forge lasting connections.

February 2027: Sundance Mountain Resort, Utah

Join Brigadoon's ninth gathering of entrepreneurs and thought leaders at Robert Redford's legendary Sundance Mountain Resort. For three transformative days, 45 visionaries from around the globe will convene beneath Mt. Timpanogos to explore emerging issues shaping commerce and culture.

This isn't a conference—it's a mountain retreat where breakthrough thinking happens naturally. Picture whiteboard sessions in rustic lodges, spontaneous dialogue by roaring fireplaces, and strategic contemplation amid 5,000 acres of Utah wilderness. Here, participants don't just attend presentations; they engage in hands-on meetings, network-expanding meals, outdoor adventures, and creative activities that challenge conventional thinking.

Transformative, not Transactional

In a world cluttered with worn-out conference formats and one-way panels, Brigadoon offers something rare: authentic connection. This opt-in, word-of-mouth gathering brings together venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, journalists, designers, doctors, athletes, and thought leaders who possess deep expertise in areas that touch every aspect of our daily lives—yet remain outside our individual wheelhouses.

With just 45 participants, conversations flow naturally from global affairs to cultural movements, from business innovation to entrepreneurial insights. The intimate scale ensures you'll discover value in both structured sessions and organic encounters—what happens off-stage often proves as transformative as what unfolds on-stage.

The Setting: Sundance Mountain Resort

Founded by Robert Redford in 1969, Sundance Mountain Resort embodies a unique commitment to balancing nature, art, and community. This Utah wilderness sanctuary at the base of Mt. Timpanogos offers the perfect backdrop for connecting, refocusing, and deep thinking.

The resort's charming village atmosphere blends rustic authenticity with artistic sophistication. From fine dining at The Tree Room to intimate nooks perfect for strategic contemplation, every space invites meaningful exchange. Whether you're exploring mountain trails, enjoying spa treatments, or gathering around fireplaces in cozy suites, Sundance provides endless opportunities for both solitary reflection and spontaneous dialogue.

Three Days. No Nametags. No Panels. No Pretense.

Imagine three transformative days where learning new concepts feels as natural as breathing mountain air. The campus-like setting, steeped in cultural heritage, creates an atmosphere where curiosity thrives, and assumptions are challenged.

Each evening culminates in thoughtfully curated dinners with fellow participants, where conversations drift organically across disciplines and industries. Here, you'll encounter perspectives that expand your understanding of our interconnected world—and leave the gathering smarter.
